  4. Kim Kokkonen's TSR utilities (MARK, RELEASE, etc.) include MAPMEM.EXE,
  5. which reports on the TSR's loaded in RAM and on the amounts of free
  6. conventional, expanded and extended memory.  The last item refers in
  7. fact to INT 15h extended memory.  The latest version of MAPMEM.EXE (2.9)
  8. checks first for MSDOS version and gives a report only if the main version
  9. number is 3 or 4.  To force it to work with MSDOS 5.0, change the byte
  10. at offset 1EC6 from 04 to 05 (using the Norton Utilities, for example).
